III SUMMIT COMMITTEE OF PRESIDENTS BY EURASIA FEDERATION HAS BEEN HELD
Third summit of Committee of Presidents was held in Sarajevo on September 25. The summit was opened by Cemail Bakindi, president of Eurasia Federation, at 10:00 by Bosnian local time. Presidents took up Georgian issue with respect to the agenda. After long deliberations presidents had decided to send a group of representatives of Eurasia Federation to Georgia to visit the Federation’s fellow member, which is facing numerous difficulties, and to help it financially; only the last Georgia-Russian war made the union lose more than 10% of its members- there is no need even to mention the impact of the crisis. Delegation will be headed by the president of Eurasia Federation. 24th October and 1st November were set as beginning and an end of the visit, respectively. During the summit, it was also agreed to send some representatives from Turkey as observers to competition which is organized by Serbian member union from 26th to 30th October. At the competition members of the Serbian union will be competing at various brancheslike cooking, cleaning, etc. Eurasia Federation is willing to hold an educational seminar at Ukraine. Cemail Bakindi, president of Eurasia Federation, was appointed as main responsible for organizing the Ukrainian seminar. The exact date of seminar must be negotiated and set with the Trade Union of Agriculture of Ukraine. In accordance with the agenda affiliation of SPPBBSH union was taken up by presidents. After some deliberations it was ruled that SSPPBBSH should become an observer for one year and as the observer status ceases the union should become a full member. This decision was issued with respect to the statute of Eurasia Federation. At second part of the summit president discussed impact of the crisis to the region. All unions re-affirmed to be honest and respectful to mutual solidarity and partnership. Moreover, prior to the summit of presidents “Agreement of Cooperation between trade union Agro – Fratia of Romania and trade union PPDIVUT of Bosnia and Herzegovina” was signed. Through this significant contract trade unions were able to establish solidarity, which is beneficial for members of both parties. Besides to attendees of the summit of presidents and to representatives of Eurasia Federation representatives of Romanian embassy in Sarajevo and media had also attended to the signature ceremony of the agreement. Also at the ceremony Mr. Cemail Bakindi, president of Eurasia Federation, centered his speech at importance of Eurasia Federation. Adding further “This agreement, which was signed by members of Eurasia Federation, is the best example of building and strengthening partnerships and realizations some of base aims.”
